Thome added, “I'll keep playing, eighth on the all-time list with 604 career homers. I just need teams to call me. I can't go play in the backyard by myself. I don't know the demand for a 41-year-old DH, but my passion is I want to continue to play.”
Jim Thome recently made his comeback in the Cleveland Indians when the Minnesota Twins traded him. He is currently leading the all-time Indians’ in home-runs while his career home-runs have reached a total of 604 in 2011.
This is also the main reason why he was chosen for this unique address that was televised and broadcasted on radio across the United States of America.
