  1. Hit them all and see which you can control the flight the best. Then pick that one. The CG14 is the newest and most expensive, but not alot different than the cg12. I say the cg12 is better all around, but it only matters if you can hit the club.

  2. Since you are an 18 handicap you probably shouldn't have a 60 degree wedge in your bag.  If you get one you will learn one thing about it - you either hit it perfect, or you hit it again.  Learn to hit lobs with an open 54 or 56 degree sand wedge and when you get your handicap below 10 think about a 60 degree.

  3. I'm around your same handicap and I definently think you need a 60. Most touch shots around the green I cannot handle with a 56, and an open 56 can lead to major problems if tried to use from tight lies. I've not used any of these wedges, but I do hear the CG12's put a lot of spin on the ball.

  4. The new CG 12s are awesome... they have so much spin. The CG 14s are also very good they have a little bigger club face so they are a little easier to hit. They both have the zip grooves which putts a ton of spin on the ball when you hit it right.
