Cleveland or Taylormade?

Which is better for a 20 handicapper with ave swing speed......Cleveland HiBore XLS or Taylormade Burner?

The driver head is not really the issue for a higher handicapper.  They are both good heads.  The real difference will be in the shaft that you use.  Invest some time in researching different shaft specs.  This will really increase your chances of hitting the ball more consistently.

I've owned both. I currently hit the Hibore and love it. You may lose a little distance but the accuracy is soooo much better. WIth avg swing speed I rec using the reg flex shaft with the stiff tip, prolly 10.5 degree face.

Like most answers here, the shaft is most important. Don't just look at stiffness; also look at the tip flex. This will help you get the ball in the air. Go to a retailer or course that can fit you properly. Most will do this for nothing if you buy a club from them. Regarding the make of the club it should be whatever fits your eye; whichever one  looks the best to you is important but not the most important.

Taylormade Burner my grandpa has it, he's great, my uncle has it, he's pro, and I have it it's a great club... I like the new one more though. So I'm gonna say Taylormade Burner.

I have owned both a Cleveland driver and a taylormade burner, I personally prefer the taylormade burner because of my swing type it seems to work better for me. I am a 2 handicap, the thing with drivers is it mostly depends on the shaft, it really doesnt matter on the type of head, getting the weight of the shaft and the stifness is the most important thing. If you have a problem with a high hook trajectory, I would recommend a stiffer shaft. Visa Versa a more flexible shaft
