My twins are 21 mo old and I have them do at least one craft/drawing a day. My refrigerator and one entire wall in my dining room is completely full of their art. I am looking for creative ways to show it off that are CHEAP or free! I am willing to weed out some of the old ones, but does anyone have ideas for ways to show off art and change it when need be.

  1. "A PHOTOGRAPH  ALBUM" ENTITLED (YOUR TWINS' NAMES'): Drew by one or the other on each page, and the older ones put in (a plastic page like goes in a notebook, to hold pencils, etc.),put them flat and zip them up that will keep safe, dry, also you could put in that folder a piece of paper of name, age date, they drew it; thenwhile you are seeing new art, put those in your photograph album book, and when you take old ones out put them in your plastic holder. You can place your photograph album where everyone can see it, and put a message behind the album : TO EVERYONE PLEASE SEE MY   KIDS' ART WORK, HERE  FOR ALL TO SEE!See, if you put the newset in your album, and the older ones in your plastin zipped safe, dry, then when their are older you can give these pictures you kept to them.

  2. Make a popsicle stick frame & back it with cardboard and hang it in your living room

  3. I would make a "clothesline" and string it from one wall to another. Decorate clothespins with pretty colors and use them to clip the art to the clothesline. That way, they can dry if they're wet.

  4. I saw on a commercial, a dad had taken pictures with the digital camera of all the childrens art and then loaded them onto one of those frames that change pictures every few seconds.  I'm thinking of that.  The frames run about $60.  In the meantime, I have all my daughters in a big oversized box and periodically go thru it to weed out.  I have also framed some smaller pieces, or even sections of a larger piece and displayed those in a frame I already had.

  5. Well if you're going to weed through the old ones, save them in a folder or box because it would make great wrapping paper for grandma's birthday or auntie's graduation.. (whatever the event)

What I do with the miles of artwork my kids bring home.. well I save a few of my favorites for my desk, and the most recent are hung on the refrigerator. Special things I want to save are retired to their keepsake boxes, and others are sent to relatives who live a distance. I use the colorful ones for wrapping paper for relatives. I sometimes buy a large, inexpensive frame with a plastic front and let them create a collage of their artwork on the cardboard from the back, and it is hung on a wall or given as a gift. You have a lot more artwork coming, so make room!! Good luck to you momma.

  6. Get ya a few frames and do a collage on a wall with them and you can always change them out.  Start a scrapbook with them in it.

  7. My daughter and I go to a place called "The Naked Plate".  You paint pictures on pottery (plates, cups, bowls, etc.).  There was a child's drawing from paper that was put onto a cup.  I'm not sure how they did it, but it was in color and looked wonderful!  It's not free, but it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

  8. This is what I have and I love them.

  9. Get some of the sheet protectors from an office supply store, or walmart (the kind you used for a presentation or report in school) and put them in a binder.  You can put out the binder so everyone can look at it when they come over, but they won't take over your whole house.  Plus, in the sheet protectors, they are less likely to get messed up.

  10. I know someone who framed her daughters art work and put it in her room, it was so cute. If you have a theme for their room maybe you can get a matching color frame and put it up.
