I got an old laptop from a dumpster site a few months ago but I didn't have a power adapter for it. A visiting friend of mine had a fujitsu with an adaptor which was the same model as one listed as compatible on my laptop, I tried it and it seemed to be just fine! So I bought a hard drive for it and order an adapter for it, also listed as compatible in the label under the bottom. Thing is, sometimes it boots up quite fine, goes in windows and I can work as long as I want with it. But if I switch it off and on again either it will but with a lot of distorcional lines on the display ( you can see it running but can't read anything) or the screen stays black with a few horizontal lines droping down all the times. It's not the screen because an external screen connected to it gives me the same results as the screen on the computer.
The computer requires 19v and 2,4A. The charger is 19v 3.16A. Could that be a problem?
Thanks for the help!
