Ok so there is a part in my book where this girl gets chased by a werewolf and yes its crutial to the plotline. I was just wondering if cliche werewolves are in. You know, the tall muscle bound hairy dirty and loud.

If not I was thinking that the werewolf should hunt in a pack, therefor making it smaller as an individual.

What do you think?

  1. okay when i think of a werewolf i see them as huge and on their own.

  2. Didn't you ask this question the other day? I still didn't understand it!

  3. When I think of a werewolf, I imagine something from the Little Red Riding Hood for adults: the wolf in it is a man with eyebrows that meet in the middle [interesting idea, I love it :)] and kind of dandy, very attractive to girls that are barely of legal age, sweet tongue, and his main goal is not to kill the girl, but to seduce her. That is my kind of cliche werewolf.

If you need a cliche cliche very cliche one, then I'd suggest looking up Fenryr [sp?] in Harry Potter. He is kind of cliche bad-guy werewolf/

  4. Have you ever heard the of the Twilight series? The werewolves in that book hunt in a pack, but are all very large, hairy, neutral colors, loud, muscular, grow very fast, have hot bpdy temperature....etc. The twilight series is a huge sucess, so Im guessing that these types of werewolves are "in" lol.

What do I think? I think Stephanie M's werewolves are better then the traditonal ones that who turn into werewolves at the pale moonlight, dont hunt in packs, eat people, etc.

    Good luck on your book!

EDIT: You could also create a whole new type of vampires, like ones that  are whole new colors, whole new look, maybe even from outer space! Go all out, I mean oyu are writing fantasy! But I think doung what MEyer did is better.

  5. Mutant werewolves from space...open up a whole new arena!
