I just bought a 94 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4. And the truck runs well. But there is a loud clicking coming from the front passanger side tire. The noise speeds up and slows down with the speed of the truck. And it picks up a whole truck vibration about 45mph or so. I was told that it sounded like the axle was bad. So I went online and have no clue what I am looking at or even looking for, or even if that is the cause of the noise. Please help if you have any thoughts on it

  1. CV joint or boot... had it replaced on mycar

  2. If it clicks mostly when you're turning, it's probably a CV Joint.

If it clicks constantly, The wheel bearing is probably bad in the hub assembly. .
