Clicks but wont fire

Question

I have a reddy heater 55 that clicks and get fuel (kerosine) but wont ignite.
I replace the spark plug already, but no luck.
the las time it fired a big puff of smoke came out and it ran fine, but the next time I tried to fire it up, just clicking. Help please!
