  1. Because of the environmental laws put in place during those years, the ones George Bush set aside when he took office.  That gave us the gigantic spike in temperature that began in  2000

  2. It didn't.  The temperature stayed about constant.

Global warming slowed down because of all the particles of c**p we put into the air.  The stuff that was causing smog and killing us fast.

Once we slowed down doing that, global warming took over.  And putting stuff in the air we breath is hardly a good solution.

Jello got this one right <grin>.  Although , to scientists, "aerosols" in this context doesn't mean spray cans, it means tiny particles suspended in the atmosphere.

  3. No doubt that cooling can be blamed on man just as much as warming is.

Let's see if I can get in the mind of a guilt ridden believer and make this argument.......

During those times aerosols were common, and aerosols put fine particles into the atmosphere.  These aerosols reflected the sun's light and energy back into space instead of warming the planet.

This continued until the gvmt banned the use of aerosol products in the late 1970's.

This is why man was responsible for global cooling.

Hey! I think I did it!

  4. ITS GOOD TO SAVE THE EARTH! KEEP RECYCLING!
