  1. look ay www.inm.es. There you find everything you want to know.

  2. It´s temperate in winter in the south and cold in the north. I´m in Málaga and the weather the past 10 days has been fantastic. In the low 20c´s. In the north it isn´t too bad though snow is forecast. Summer in the south can get extremely hot but in the north it is much more pleasant but still very warm. The fall is just a tapering off of the hot weather with occasional showers.

We desperately need rain in my part of Andalucia.

  3. I'm currently in Vitoria-Gasteiz in the Basque Country in northern Spain and it's been quite cold over the last few weeks. Minimum we've had is -5C. having said that I was out on my motorbike this afternoon and it was sunny and 11-14C. It does snow here every winter at some point. Summer is just right and can occasionally get up to 35C, but more normally in the mid to high twenties. When it rains here(quite often) it is only light rain, but persistent. As for autumn (fall) and spring, they are not really separate seasons, weather-wise, just summer "verano" and winter "invierno".

I was in Valencia(south east) last winter and November and December were lovely, sunny most days, and up to the mid twenties. When it rains in Valencia - it really throws it down. You can get quite big hailstones too! Usually short spells though.

There was a cold spell this February, but temperatures would still only get down to about 5C.

I was in Zaragoza(in the centre of eastern Spain and in the middle of a desert) last summer (June) and in the city centre, the temperature regularly reached 45C in the late afternoon, a dry, rather than humid heat. Thunderstorms were reasonably frequent. Much of the interior of Spain is on high plains, so hot in summer and colder in winter, the mediterranean coast being the mildest in winter, from Valencia down to Gibraltar.

If you want to get a flavour of Spain, I've included the link to my blog about my travels here.

    ¡Ciao!

    John
