  1. They live in different climates in Australia. There are many in Victoria and it gets quite cold there. also we have them in South east Queensland where the climate is much warmer. They live where there is a lot of Eucalyptus gum trees http://www.thekoala.com/koala/ .

  3. Apart from elsewhere, on the Gold Coast, mild/tropical climate, over my back fence.  Spotted one crossing the road and back to our gum trees last week, it was quite an unusual site seeing it walking across the road then back to the safety of our trees.

We also have them in outdoor habitats in Southern Tasmania which is an island off the coast of mainland Australia.  I just recently took some beautiful photographs of them should you need them, just email me.  Our climate here in Tassie varies depending upon where you live.  I live in Hobart and the climate here can be hot (90 degrees or more in the summer) and cold and rainy in the winter.
