Clint Bowyer’s strong start not enough- needs to show even more guts
It seems that Clint Bowyer has started his new NASCAR season pretty brilliantly. He is no doubt a driver with remarkable talent and that is why he is considered to be one of the favourite racers at NASCAR.
Clint Bowyer’s win on Sunday in the first round of the Sprint Championship was remarkable and also a special one for him as he was able to draw the crowd’s attention towards his splendid performance. Bowyer has yet not been able to perform to his fullest
but now it seems as if he is ready to outclass his rivals. At present, he is celebrating his thrashing victory while experts are busy making assumptions about his upcoming races.
Mike Dillon, the General Manager of Richard Childress Racing, seemed happy to see Clint on the track. He told the media that Bowyer is no doubt a breath of fresh air for the team and his performance is not only encouraging for him but also for his team.
Earlier, Clint had been working hard to get into the NASCAR racing world as he was considered a blue collar racer. Dillon added that Bowyer appears to be close to his fans while he has earned his respect through his powerful performance. He admired Bowyer
and maintained that he is an emerging star at NASCAR.
The Sunday’s race was an interesting one with certain twists and turns. It turned out to be hard for all the championship contenders as every racer somehow seemed to have lost his faith in himself. Bowyer finished at the 2nd spot which was quite dramatic
and jaw dropping for the crowd. Clint is 35 points behind the leader, Denny Hamlin. Later, Clint Bowyer stated that it was surely a remarkable effort by him and he has been able to settle the brawl in a victorious manner. Bowyer’s effort was equally appreciated
by his team mates and the chief as well.
Shane Wilson, Bowyer’s crew chief commented that his team has now got its best driver in the shape of Bowyer, who is expected to keep on delivering in the future also. He said that although, Jimmie Johnson is the one racer who has won four races in a row
but still, Bowyer is no less than him. Wilson added that his team has all the capacity to perform in the most difficult of conditions.
Meanwhile, Johnson seemed to have a raw day at the race as he had to suddenly stop due to a bad spin that resulted in him losing one wheel. He had to finish at the 25th spot which was definitely a disappointing performance of him. But, Bowyer argued that
drivers like Johnson are always surprising so under estimating Johnson could turn out to be a big mistake. Clint Bowyer’s next race will be yet another test for him as his fans now want him to win again and again.
