  1. Road bike shoes usually don't look normal and are difficult to walk in. Try browsing through the mountain bike shoes, their cleats are usually recessed and they look like a normal tennis shoe or boot.

My friend wears his MTB shoes to school every day, and no one notices.

  2. There are lots of them....only a few that really *don't* look like a cycling shoe, though, in my opinion.   Shimano and Lake both make lots of models you should check out.  Nike has a couple, and the Pearl Izumi X-Alp is another.

If you want something with a little more street style, check out the shoes from 661, Adidas, Marzocchi, and Oakley (not sure they have anything clipless this year).

  3. i have a pair of shimano DX clipless shoes and they look like normal shoes...but you should also check out danscomp.com and jrbicycles.com...they have a good range and good prices

  4. Check the Shimano models at EBAY  (www.ebay.com---Sporting goods under Cycling--Shoes etc.). They can look like hiking shoes but have tough SPD cleats for serious riders!

  5. check www.specialized.com I have a pair of shoes by Specialized which look like ordinary hiking boots, but take an SPD cleat. they're great from cruising around town, as you can actually walk in them as well. on the trails I have a pair of Shimano XC shoes, and for my road bike I have a pair of Nikes..
