Clippers trying to win championship?

Seems like it =O they signed over 6 -8 people. They acquired baron davis , steve novak, ricky davis, marcus camby,kelenna azubuike(but we matched him ;D),eric gordon, jason hart and maybe others? Jeez laweez man thats alot of people. How many gs do they constantly need?Cliiper fans and haters out there 10 points for the best roast or explannation for this epic fail =D

well they are actually just idiots, cause first of all they will ALWAYS be the 2nd best team in LA. Also they just should have realized when the face of the franchise (Elton Brand) left, they dont have a chance to be in the top half of the west conference bracket. What morons.

Well, they're in rebuilding stage.

Obviously (although they didnt admit it on National TV), Baron Davis wanted to play with Elton Brand. That's wat they thought was supposed to happen. But once Elton signed with the Sixers, Baron wasn't too thrilled. To make Baron still have faith in the organization, they're trying to acquire a good deal of players now, while they still have cap. And, btw, they can't possibly be thinking about championship. They don't have nearly as good of a big 3 as Houston. And Houston isn't even the top contender in West right now!

Thanks for reminding me about jason, too. Geez, it is quite a lot isn't it.

i think just about every franchise that is in the NBA has the goal of winning a championship- although realistically just making it to the playoffs would be a big accomplishment for this team.  

They have done a pretty good job signing some players to fill their bench and to give them some depth considering they lost their all-time franchise player in Elton Brand and Maggette has to be one of their "all-time" Clippers.

They have some saavy vets- but there have been many seasons where the Clippers looked good on paper and found a way to be the Clippers.  i won't believe it till i see it... but they sure have signed a lot of people and perhaps they're going to dump whoever doesn't work out.  i thought they recovered from losing Brand and Maggette pretty well- but i'm not sure that all the people they signed makes up for what they lost- i won't be convinced because being the Clippers they always find a way to be the Clippers.

Everyone should know that not all basketball teams that are building up alot are trying to get a championship. They just want to see what the new roster can do and then build off Again.

Well They Are playing to win now buy getting camby and baron 2 great players but are aging..they are still missing a nother scorer.They have gotten better but they still will be 3rd best team in California the Lakers will probaly be first and they will have a worst record the golden state after gs pulled in maggette and kept a talented young player in azubuike
