Can Draino be used on a bath tub?

i agree with BLW_KAM and trying the zip-it.

should you use the chemicals and not clear the drain, you will be playing in acid or the next person will have to.

the Zip-It tool is cheaper too!

take the little strainer off of the drain, there's probably a glob of hair stopping the water from draining out....

yes of course, but make sre the tub is well cleaned before you take a bath or even a shower. most tub drain clogs are a result of soap buildup and hair, which drano will work on.

Yes, but for a quick fix, go to the hardware store and buy a Zip It.  It works like a charm and will pull up all the gunk cauught just below the drain http://www.zipitclean.com/.  It costs just a few dollars.
