Clogged ducts..boils...mastits??

Question

I have a red lump under my armpit, it has been growing for the past 2 days. I have been doing everything i usually do for a clogged duct, but it is red, red, red, and HURTS soooo bad. I dont know what i should do about this. I can't see the doc for atleast 2 more days and i'm worried it will grow more. My son has emptied the breast many times.

it could be mastitis. I have it too now, again.

Other symptoms are moderate fever, headaches, the red area is hot to the touch.. ive been nautious too.

Im on antibiotics again, i waited a while this time hoping to get rid of it w/o the drugs but the pain iss terrible, and the night sweats.. in the middle of winter i flooded the bed with sweat.. nasty.

you need tyo get to the doctor and get it checked. my doc was telling me if it gets really bad and you dont treat it you can get a puss ball infection and need to be operated on.

Put a warm compress on it and call your doctor. see if he/she will call in a prescription for antibiotic for you (mine did that for me on a Sat). Oh and eat yogurt every day while on the antibiotic to avoid yeast infection (for you and baby). I just got over my latest mastitis a week ago.
