Clomantagh Rock tipped to win The Jcp Bodies Trophy
Clomantagh Rock is likely to prevail in the The Jcp Bodies Trophy at Hall Green in England on Tuesday, April 24, 2012. The winner of the 258 metres flat race will be awarded a cash prize of £175.
The action is scheduled to begin at 20:17 GMT and following are the six entries confirmed for the race: Clomantagh Rock, Funworld Boy, Razldazl Clooney, Criminal Court, Guinness Pirate and Finnside Scolari.
Looking at the race distance to cover, the bookies have given the best odds to Clomantagh Rock, who is a very good starter. He seems to enjoy running in the shorter distance races, thus the punters are likely to place a lot of bets in his favour.
The G. Ballentine’s trainee has been doing a pretty decent job in recent times, as he managed to win one race at Hall Green in March. He is carrying very good momentum and will make it difficult for his opponents to catch him.
In his most recent outing, Clomantagh Rock was unable to deliver a strong result, as he finished third overall. Although he was not rated favourite to win, he had been awarded pretty decent odds by the bookmakers.
However, the black dog failed to challenge the top two in that race and finished in a distant third place. He will need a much better effort in order to win today’s race. He is the son of Killahan Phanter out of Droopys Therese and was born in July 2009.
On the other hand, the punters might risk some money in favour of Funworld Boy, who is in great form right now. He did a solo run at Hall Green recently and was pretty much impressive.
Apart from that, the C. Price’s trained hound done well in different races at this level, as he was victorious in his most recent Grade OR event. Despite not being the favourite, he dominated the proceedings and finished on top of the table by a margin of
two lengths.
The blue and white dog is the son of Droopys Vieri out of Marlfield Lucy and was born in August 2009.
The rest of the runners do not seem to be in good form at the moment, thus the real battle will be between Clomantagh Rock and Funworld Boy.
