Clomid Question :o)?

My dr. is going to start me soon on the smallest amount of clomid, because after a SHG (like HSG only they use saline instead of dye) she thinks I don't need that much to get me ovulating. Well, I was wondering what is the smallest dose of clomid that can be prescribed, and has anyone gotten pregnant from just having this low dose of clomid?? 50 mg is usually the smallest dose.  The pills come in 50 mg amounts.  Most doctors will have you take it for 5 days.  Usually either cd 3-7 or cd 5-9.  I took mine cd 5-9.  I started on 50 mg and didn't ovulate.  I did ovulate on 100 mg the 2nd and 3rd cycles.  However, I didn't conceive but I didn't keep going with it either.  The side effects were terrible.  We are now seeing a specialist and I have tried 2 cycles of injectible medications.  We are taking a break right now but will be trying our 3rd cycle next month!!  Best wishes to you!!!!!

50 mg clomid,twice taken for five days and got preggs during the second cycle,your dr might also give u some im injections ;as mine did . good luck

50 mg is the lowest dose your dr can perscribe for you when ttc with clomid. I got pregnant on my 7th cycle of clomid and I was also on 50mg

My friend got pregnant on 50MG of Clomid in 2 cycles and now has twin girls.

Mine started me this month at 100mg I am guessing my progesterone must be quite low. I forgot to ask the level it was at.
