Clomid and pain during s*x?

Question

I am taking clomid for the first time and am on cycle day 15. Starting on day 12, I have had pain in my uterus and ovaries during s*x or at least that what it feels like. It is hard to describe but it is very uncomfortable. Anyone else experience this and know what causes it?

My pain is not during s*x but just cramping in overall lower abdomen- almost like muscular pain  - like I have been doing some kind of freaky crunches.  The doctor said today that it is not unusual around day 15 to get cramps... she mentioned it could be a follicle rupturing, and that's a good sign that ovulation will occur.  She said it could be day 15, 16, 17ish.  So good luck!

I am just startig clomid,but i have read that some people complain about pain during s*x as a side effect.  Go to www.twoweekswait.com  there is clomid forum and I think that is where I read that info.  Good luck this month!

I have taken Clomid for one cycle and getting ready to take my second.  It definitely made me very dry which turned painful.  I'm not sure if that is the same problem you are having.  I ordered "pre-seed" to help since we were ttc and it was nearly impossible with how dry the Clomid made me.  And since you shouldn't use regular lubricants, pre-seed it safe to use when ttc.  Good luck!

hi i have a friend on clomid and yes its very uncomfortable to have s*x while on clomid also it gets more pain full when you o****m shes told.  Baby dust to you.
