Hi,

I did my first IUI on July 31st, 2008 without any medication since I was perfectly ovulating. I am suppose to go for my preg test tomorrow. Till today morning I was so excited about it but late afternoon I started getting spotting. So I called the hospital to check with them what to do. They told me to still come for the test as per the schedule to make sure. So here is my question..

If I am preg then they might give me medication for avoiding miscarriage..I assume ( But I doubt it as I started getting bad pain in my ovaries also, I am going to take tylenol now)

If I get negative, they told me that they will start with clomid this time. What difference can it make when I am perfectly ovulating?

Any suggestions please?

  1. sorry to hear you're going through this, it's always hard, but i hope you get a positive, if you get a positive they might give you progesterone to help you avoid miscarriage....if negative Clomid helps to strength your eggs for better chances to conceive, you can learn more about this and ask fertility specialists online for free, try fertilityties.com
