***repost*** sorry, because of the updates my question keeps disappearing and then reappearing... sorry!

hi guys! first of all thanks for all of your support throughout my ttc. i finally feel like im getting somewhere! after ttc for 5 months (and no period since ttc), i finally saw the dr and she prescribed provera and clomid! i was so ecstatic and was on cloud 9 when she handed me that prescription! i wasnt expecting to finally get it, and when i did i felt like nothing could bring me down. =-)

what i am wondering is, how many of you ladies have taken clomid and actually gotten pregnant the first month of taking it (with just the day 3-7 50mg per day dose)? anyone? how likely is that? im not expecting a miracle the first month, dont get me wrong. i am just excited, and feel like im over a huge obstacle with not many more in my way! =-)

  1. Best of luck to you ! I got pregnant 1st month on clomid..... 50mg. I wish you the best of luck!

  2. Sorry hun. I wish I could tell you that I got pregnant the first month on clomid but that is not my case. It took some time to adjust the dosage for me to make me ovulate and then it still took me 10 months total to get pregnant. But the good news is, I did get pregnant and my little angel is now 3 years old.

Hopefully it won't take you as long.

Best of luck and lots of baby dust!

  3. i did not personally take it but a close friend of mine was on 50mg and she concieved the third month.  Each month on it your chances get better because the eggs get "riper" each month.

She has an adorable 7 month old son now!

  4. I wish i could tell you i got pregnant month one because just like you i assumed that presciption was my golden ticket and we where on our way. It took my body  three months to get used to the prescription, it varies with different women. You mentioned you had no period since ttc? I had the same problem, once i got off birthcontrol my body did not have enough hormones to create a period. Hence why we were having to many issues TTC. After three months on the pills we concieved and now were approaching week 11. Goodluck stay poisitve maybe youll be one of the lucky ones who week one works for!!

  5. 9 years ago I was put on a low dose of Clomid for one month..........my daughters name is Tesa :)

Enjoy the excitement, you deserve it!!!!
