  1. I am TTC and on round 2 of clomid... we will see what happens this month!!!

    Good luck!!!

BTW.... keep a fan handy, hot flashes and bloating are almost guaranteed!!! But not too terrible!!!

  2. Here is my experience with Clomid.

I tried to get pregnant for 7 years with no success and was prescribed Clomid to help with ovulation.

I was prescribed to take it on cycle day 5-9.

I began taking the medication in February 2005.  I used an ovulation predictor kit in conjunction with the clomid to see when I ovulated.  I ovulated on cycle day 17.

The first cycle I took the medication, I became pregnant.  I had a miscarriage when I was 8 weeks along and was devastated.

I took Clomid again in May of 2005 and did not become pregnant.

I took Clomid again in June of 2005 and it worked!  My son was born in March of 2006.

In my experience, Clomid is a great drug to help certain women ovulate who have hormonal problems.  As far as symptoms, I had hot flashes and sometimes saw spots in front of my eyes.

  3. on my 3rd round and it has done nothing.

  4. Do your doctor prescribe this medication after so many tries of getting pregnant. I'm asking because I have problems ovulating and i tried the charting but it really didn't work. I'm trying to see if there is something I need to tell my doctor in order for them to prescribe this medication?

  5. I completed my 3 round of clomid last month and wasn't successful and instead ended up with a cyst.

I have now been referred to a reproductive specialist to see what my next step is as the doctor doesn't want to waste anymore of my time...so maybe its either laprascopy for me to remove the cyst and to see what else might be wrong with me...i also have endometriosis so lets see what happens...

fingers crossed...i hope that clomid does work for u...i was very hopeful for me but was disappointed. :(

    All the best

  6. I took clomid for about 3 or 4 cycles and ended up pregnant. We had been trying for 3 years prior to that.  I dont remember having any side effects but it worked great for us. Good Luck

  7. I tried 5 cycles of it and it did not help.
