Clonad Girl geared up to win Sis Live A1 525 Semi-Final
The A. Gleeson-trained black b***h, Clonad Girl, is geared up to enrich her portfolio with the glorious title of the Sis Live A1 525 Semi-Final that will take place at Shelbourne Park tonight, July 5. The Grade A1 race over 525 meters is scheduled to begin
at 21:40 (GMT).
For the prize money worth €100, the two-year-old novice runner will run against five strong rivals after breaking from the blue box. This is going to be the brilliant b***h’s first ever A1 race.
The talented daughter of Head Bound out of Clonad Mist started her career with a grand victory in an A6 race over 525 yards on January 7, 2012. She went on to finish first by the mammoth margin of 10 lengths in the very next outing on February 4----this
was an A5 contest.
The young and maverick sprinter won two more A5 races in a row during the same month. She nicely gained a runner-up rank in her maiden going at Shelbourne Park on March 29.
The skilled hound again finished second in her last start on June 16----this was a T2 event, held at the same ground where she is going to show her guts tonight.
From the market point of view, Clonad Girl is the red hot favourite runner, but her chances to win can be mitigated by Ask Peter who has two-race unbeaten record.
The Callan-trained blue dog debuted at Shelbourne Park on June 14, 2012 and won his maiden race by the big margin of 8 lengths. The son of Hondo Black out of Keiles Blossom stepped forward to finish first by 7-length margin in his very next outing on June
25.
Now, the dashing dog is on the verge of a hat-trick, thus, he will try his utmost to thrive in tonight’s event.
Comparing the two, Ask Peter is not weaker than Clonad Girl at all. The only advantage to Clonad Girl is diversity of experience.
Thus, there is anticipated to be a rip-roaring clash in the Sis Live A1 525 Semi-Final. Let us see who of the duo booms. Good luck to all the runners.
