Clonazepam makes me feel weird?

Hey i just started clonazepam for anxiety and it definitly helps to take the edge off...but it makes me feel really weird and have very very unstable moods...and im a cutter and its giving me urges...im on temazepam too...do u think it will go away eventually wen my body gets used to it...or should i stop taking it...like it helps wiht the anxiety it jsut seems to make everything else worse :S

  1. I was just put on Clonazepam on Monday.  I'm not having any problems with it.  It actually works on the anxiety very well.  The only problem I have with it is that it makes me drowsy.  That's not good at work.  But if it makes you feel weird you should definitely talk to your doctor RIGHT AWAY.  There's no reason to suffer when you don't have to.  


  2. It made me feel weird too. I had to stop and start on ativan and the anxiety would stop alot sooner the clonazpam. Call your Dr and ask if there is something better you can take. Give it a good two weeks and if it doesn't get better call your Dr, just don't stop a med cold turkey
