Cloncunny Peach likely to prevail in the March 375 Maiden
Cloncunny Peach has been given the best odds for winning March 375 Maiden at Mildenhall in England on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. The cash prize for the triumphant hound has been set as £100.
There will be six hounds seen in action for the Grade OR event, which will start at 20:30 GMT. The entries confirmed for the race are: Cloncunny Peach, Go On Paddy, Pams Hotdog, Cookes Crewe, Airforce Mayhem and Gateway Callum.
Most of the runners taking part in this race are new to this grade, which will make things a bit uncertain. However, Cloncunny Peach has participated in such events before, thus she got the best price by the bookmakers. The punters will also be investing
a lot of money in favour of her victory.
M. Alden’s trainee finished runner up in her last OR event at Mildenhall. Although she was rated favourite for that race, she failed to live up to the expectations. She was unable to get off to a good start, thus lost momentum. However, she is expected to
deliver a better show this time around.
The black b***h is the daughter of Black Shaw out of Peaches and was born in February 2009.
Go On Paddy in another hound, who has the potential of winning today’s race. He might not find things easy in this class, but the rest of the runners are also relatively inexperienced at this level, thus anything can happen in the end.
D. Whitton’s trained hound is the son of Head Man Boo out of Nosey Lady and was born in May 2010. The punters will be taking a close look at his record before risking money in favour of his victory.
On the other hand, Pams Hotdog has been setting some very good trial times at Mildenhall and will be quite used to the conditions at this venue. However, he lacks the race practice, which might discourage the bettors from risking money on him.
A. Kirby’s trainee will need a solid start in order to challenge the rest of the pack, otherwise his chances are slim. He is the son of Kinloch Brae out of Malta Magic and was born in January 2010.
The rest of the participants will also have a slight chance of winning today, as no runner seems to be in a dominant position, thus the race will be quite an exciting one for the spectators.
