anyone know the best way by bus or other to do this journey?

  1. There is no direct bus link between these two areas and to avoid having to into the city and back out again you need to take either of the busses 76/A/B, or the 210 from Newlands to the Square, Tallaght and get the 49 to the end of the Templeogue Road, cross to the far side of the road and take the no. 15 coming from the city to Scholarstown Road.  The 49 does go through Knocklyon, Ballycullen Dr, Ballycullen Rd, the part paralell to the M50, so depending on which end of Scholarstown Rd you want, you could opt to walk from here.
