i was checking my statements as i normally do to find there was £60.35 Tesco upt. i have never shoppped at tesco or buy petrol from tesco. i found out tht my card had been cloned n sum1 had brought petrol frm tesco in aylesbury. as i l8er find out "PAY AT PUMPS" do not need a chip n pin or a signature. theses machines r out of date 4 this day n age and they makes a real easy for frauds. does ne1 knw tesco head office number? n its nt on website tried it.

  1. First of all take your statement into the bank & dispute any transactions not made by you & get the card stopped!

    Apologies if you have already done this, but you didn't say!


  2. My debit card was cloned last year (I think I know where) and around July, I received a call from HSBC asking if I had made any purchases of computer stuff in the South of England.

    They were querying this purchase, along with 2 debits to Oxfam. I told them that I don't pay anything to Oxfam, and that I very rarely travel any further south than Leicester.

    You must always ensure that your debit card NEVER goes out of your sight. There is equipment available that is able to scan your card's magnetic strip, and I'm not sure about the chip.

    This is an issue that you need to take up with Tesco and your bank.
