Clonkelly Point likely to finish first in the Golden Crest (Heat 2)
Clonkelly Point is keen to complete his hat-trick in the Dave Lawrance Golden Crest – Heat 2 that will be held at Poole racecourse on Tuesday night, June 26. The high-voltage Open Race is set to begin at 20:52 (GMT).
On the flat track of 450 metres, the J. Campbell trained white and black dog will demonstrate an electric pace by capitalising well on the winning momentum he gained by winning his last two races.
The three-year-old sprinter gave it his all and won the race by a reasonable margin of 4 lengths on June 10, 2012. Following this epic feat, he finished first in his last outing on June 17.
As a whole, the dashing dog has been winning with regular intervals throughout his career. The way he performed in his last two outings has established him as a favourite contender for the Golden Crest Heat 2.

The D. Mitchell trained black dog has been winning with regular intervals since the dawn of the calendar year. From May 22 to June 10, the experienced runner downed a superb hat-trick.
Thus, the son of Ninja Blue, out of Ballymac Just, is the only one in the lineup to take down, Clonkelly Point, but one thing is for certain that a fierce battle will go down between the two hounds.
Among the other runners, Droopys College is ready to perform big in the Heat. The J. Burridge trained black dog grabbed three consecutive triumphs from May 26 to June 9, 2012. Earlier, he had bagged a couple of races in the month of April.
In the Golden Crest Heat 2, there is going to be an awe-inspiring clash at Poole. The event will attract numerous spectators to the venue.
