Clonrooske Son expected to win Betfred Steel City Cup – Heat 1
The H. Kemp trained black dog, Clonrooske Son, is expected to capitalise well on the form produced by his recent triumphs in a bid to clinch top spot in the Betfred Steel City Cup – Heat 1 that will be held at Sheffield racecourse on Tuesday night, July
31.
The two-year-old novice runner will break from the orange box when the action begins at 19:26 (GMT). On the 500-meter flat course, the dashing dog will run alongside five rivals for the sake of the prize money worth £150.
The talented son of Kinloch Brae out of Lemon Divine marvellously accomplished a couple of consecutive conquests at Henlow earlier this month. After winning the A1 460m Flat over 460 meters on July 13, he finished first in the Henlow Standard Dup on July
19.
These two triumphs have boosted up the maverick hound’s morale to a great extent. During the last month, the young dog grabbed a classic conquest along with a runner-up position in a row.
For most of the time in his career, Clonrooske Son has been on the podium, performing equally well in different formats of the game and at different venues. This versatility makes the dog the most potential candidate for the Heat.
Thus, Clonrooske Son will be able to carry the day emphatically as none of his rivals is strong enough to hamper him.
Ritual is the hound who will perform well in the race and, probably, earn the runner-up spot. The S. Mason trained blue b***h elegantly grabbed a couple of grand victories during the last month---both were the T2 races.
The brilliant b***h finished 3rd in each of her last two OR starts. As a whole, the daughter of Collision out of Locnamon Nell has been at the top of her game since debuting in March 2012.
Though not vying for victory, Ritual will give enough tough time to Clonrooske Son. This fight will make the event fairly interesting and thrilling. So let us enjoy the live action at Sheffield and see how Clonrooske Son dances on his way towards victory.
Good luck all the six hounds.
