Close to labor and delivery....?

Question

I started having contractions at 3 am this morning and they lasted untill 5 30 am... about 2 mins apart and lasting from 30-40 secs. They died down after I took tylenol PM and feel asleep, they're off and on now and mostly my back is just hurting. My question.... I'm a nervous wreck! My son came beside me and tripped and tumbled, just playing around and I screamed and my insides jumped, I'm very jumpy and nervous, is this common right before labor?

2 mins apart and you didnt call a doctor???

i would go ahead and give your doc a call. you cant be too safe...and you dont want to deliver at home!

I was never preggers but i would say to stop taking the pills, this probably has nothing to do with your question but speak to your doc about taking pills when preggers. it could be very dangerous to you rbundle of joy. God bless

Yes, being nervous before labor is normal. I was nervous the first two times and I am now preggo with number 3 and due in Jan. So with every child that u have u will be nervous before labor. So just relax and calm down because u don't want ur blood pressure to get high. I am doing the same thing. I am going to be nervous. So just relax and next time that u have contractions try drinking some juice and lay on ur left side for about an hour. If that doesnt slow ur contractions then that means ur in real labor. Get up and go to the hospital. Don't take any tylenol. Call ur doctor. Good Luck!!!!!!
