Closed account?

I closed out my yahoo account several months ago. I thought that by doing so it would close "all" yahoo accounts associated with that account such as "Groups". I just visited the group section and see that my "group" account is still open and people can still post. BUT! I can not get into it because the yahoo mail account no longer exists for me to sign in with.

What do I do to remove the Group account?

Sign back into the account it should still be there although a window will ask do you wish to reactivate the account?    I've done it with yahoo accounts I haven't used for  months,  then unsubscribe from the groups.

as far as I know, when accounts are deactivated, or deleted, they still remain in groups memebrship. you have to unsub in order for it to be removed.

there really is not much you can do if you yourself deleted your own account.
