Closest place for snowboarding Long Island NY?

What is the closest place for snowboarding on Long Island NY. Obviously I have to go upstate somwhere but I don't know any good places.

Hunter Mountain!!! It's a 2 hour (or so) drive from NYC and there are snowboard/skate shops that regularly plan all inclusive day trips for less than $100 - assuming you're not renting anything.

here's the answer to that question. however i suggest taking the trek to VT and doing Stratton or Bromley.
