Closest vacation spot off of gulf of mexico?

We live at fort polk la, and we are wanting to go see the gulf of mexico. We want to go somwhere where the waters are clear and blue, all that. Just wondering if anyone knows of a place that is nice and family oriented that is close to here or the closest place that is like that! Thank you

Any place in the Florida panhandle might work for you
