Closing Open Pores on face (resulting from Buff Puff use). ?

Question

I just bought Buff Puff sponge for facial cleansing. I am not sure if I had used it kinda of agressively or not, but first time my face complexion looked great, bright, clean...super clean. Then as I used it the 2nd, 3rd time....the pores on my face looked so large and visibly open!! What looked liked a blessing (the sponge), turned into a curse!

What can one do, to close large open facial pores.

Use astringent/toner to your face every night, after cleansing. And splash your face with cold water.

Another nickname is right- ice works as well.
