Closing olympic show / England and their show? What did you think?

I was kind of disappointed with the England display.

yeah... umm... on top of seeing their Mayor look like a complete douche in a stadium of 90 thousand people and on tv around the world, that show was terrible. wow... I almost feel like asking for an apology.

The Olympic closing ceremony wasn't as good as the opening ceremony. But, I don't think any other city can put on a good show like Beijing. And... I agree London skit at the Closing Ceremony was just horrible and old fashioned. British appeared, with a dance skit including a London bus and members of three dance companies. Clearly, they were playing far from home, with limited resources. Even so, it looked chaotic and under-rehearsed.

The closing ceremony didn't dissapoint me, but it can't even compare to the opening.....

I bought the Opening Ceremony on DVD, but it's not being delivered for about another month...

Oh!!! you mean the London part of the preformance! yeah, that was bad...Leona Lewis's voice kept going up and down, and it looked like they made it up in like 20 minutes....

Well, yes it sucked. I felt embarrassed for them.

But traditionally, all the 8 minute closing ceremony shows have sucked. So, England's closing 8 minutes of rubbish can more than hold it's own against the rubbish of other countries. (I read the Guardian article on it -British newspaper)

I think the london part was alright.  I through  they would have a double decker bus, mind you I never been to England.  They don't get a lot of time to do anything big.  

I preferred the opening ceremony the best
