Clothes dye? where and how?

Question

where do i buy clothes dye?

are they easy to use?

can i use any colour on any colour?

about how much are they?

plz give me some ideas!

You can bye any dye at H.E.B or Walmart. In the Cloths detergent isle....very inexpensive. WHAT NOT TO DO.... dont do it in any container you like or your tub. I did that with black dye.. umm didnt come out.. looked purple. TO DO.. buy a 5 gallon bucket (if the clothes fit, with some room to stir) and do it in that.

you gcan get the dye from walmart or the 1.oo$ store or ant little store and put the die on the cothes or shrit put rubber banes on them and wash it dont put it with other cothes and thats it                                                                                                                     thank you

You can find clothes dye at hardware and drug stores and at most super markets.  Just follow the package directions carefully and there should be no porblem.  You cannot dye a lighter color over a darker color without removing the darker color first.  There is a color remover dye product for this purpose.  Prices vary, so check in your area to see what it costs.  The most reliable fabric dye is Rit brand.  Others don't quite match up.

you can purchase RIT DYE at any local grocery store or drug store.  I havent personally used it, but heard it works ok.

They sell it at Walmart or grocery stores.  You cannot use any color on any color.  You can use any color on white - but some fabrics do not take the dye well or at all.  100% cotton is best.  The stuff works pretty well, depending upon what you are trying to do.  Sometimes it is hard to get even coverage, even on white fabric.  Be sure to follow the directions carefully!  Prewash whatever you are dying.  And whatever you dye may fade in the wash forever after.

Ive seen them at Michael's you can probably get it at ur local craft store.. they sell kits that are easy to use.. im not sure on the price.
