  1. The underarmor type turtleneck and long johns really do work wonders (there are other brands too).  Lightweight and keep you warm.  You want layers for really cold weather, so start with that, then slacks, golf shirt and possibly wool sweater.  Also a hat (loose most body heat through the head)  If it is going to rain you need goretex rain suit, jacket and pants, and waterproof shoes (Footjoy Dryjoys).  But go with layers of clothes so if it starts warming up you can shed some.

  2. well now it's going to be cold, that changed everything. just make sure that you wear pants, bring a warm jacked and a hat!!

  3. Definitely wear some sort of windbreaker that is waterproof. You can wear whatever you like under it.The light windbreaker will allow for mobility and keep you from getting soaked and being that much colder.I always keep one in my bag just in case.I'm more of a fair weather golfer myself.I would just stay home and play wii instead of being miserable.

  4. WATERPROOFS!!!!

deffinetly wear a breathable water proof jacket with a good hood

and this sounds silly but u might hav to look into waterproof trousers, they look pretty awful but 4 hours in the rain and in some cases u might end up in knee high grass u want to hav waterproof trousers cause if u can keep ur trousers dry underneath then u will stay warm and theres nothing worse than standing outside for hours wet cause then u get cold and its no fun

and u need boots, not like knee high but wellies would work lol if not then walking boots are waterproof and u want to keep ur feet dry

if u have waterproofs they also work amazingly as wind blocks so they will keep u happy and warm :)

also hav a bag to put them in if it turns out to be sunny

  5. just get some cold gear under armor and you will be on your way

  6. A few things:

-A gore-tex rainsuit is an absolute requirement.  Sun Mountain, FootJoy, and ZR make good ones.  You want to make sure it is waterproof (not water resistant).

-Under that, you want to dress in layers.  No cotton.  You want something that keeps you warm and dry.  Under Armour makes great base layer stuff.

-Make sure your shoes are waterproof; bring an extra pair of socks with you just in case along with a polypropolene liner.

-Get a pair of rain gloves (I prefer the Footjoy ones).  They actually work better when its wet.

-Get a second pair, and keep them either in a ziploc bag or velcro'd together under your umbrella.

-Put handwarmers (you can buy the packets for a couple dollars) in your jacket pockets.

-Remember the ball isn't going to travel as far; figure a 1-2 club difference, more if you're going into the wind.
