  1. Hello,

I just checked the weather for Orlando and it's supposed to rain/storm all the way up till next Saturday. And even if you go when it's not raining, it's going to be extra humid from all the tropical storm flood water evaporating. So, wear something light weight.

Dressy "Bermuda shorts" and dressy top (preferably black or shimmery for clubbing).

    Light weight tank dress

    Flip flops

Pack some baby powder. When I lived in FL, I put it all over my stomach, back, and chest (in a thin layer of course-- not visible to others). It kept me from feeling so hot and nasty with the humidity.

  2. Orlando is casual, but if you want to dress up more than shorts, you won't look out of place either.  You could wear shorts, capri pants, a summer dress - whatever you like.  When you're going out to eat, you might want to take a cardi or light hoodie because of the AC.

  3. i've been to the clubs and i like to dress up to go out as well but really the dress code is more casual.

not to say you can't dress up but you won't find that many do.

i would say that a cute summer dress with flip flops or heels would be fine or what i usually wear is jeans with a dressier top. a skirt and shirt would be good as long as its not too dressy. or capris and a nicer shirt.

i would say dress casual but not like going to the theme parks casual. no shorts and tees. and i wouldn't wear sneakers.

just remember most people on vaca don't bring any dress clothes so thats why you don't see people in real night life attire.

  4. shorts and a dressed up top would be a good choice.

  5. skirt and top or floaty dress x

  6. You CAN dress however you want at even the fanciest restaurants and clubs in Orlando--especially if you're in the tourist areas.

At any restaurant at universal or on I-drive (international drive) you'll be in good company in a T-shirt, shorts and flip flops.

For the clubs around the parks you will still find many people in the same clothes they were in at the parks.  About half to two thirds will be dressed for going to a club.  You won't really be out of your element in either outfit.

Dress like you're going out if you go to down town Orlando.  I would suggest to start out at The Monkey Bar on Wall Street.  Nice open air tropical bar for those of us that aren't 21 anymore.  There are also several other bars all in walking distance downtown and there are only a couple that charge cover.

It might be worth noting that Pleasure Island at Downtown Disney is closing at the end of September.  Last chance to see the ridiculous shows at The adventurers Club or the rotating dance floor and Co2 blast at Mannequins.

P.S.  The tropical storm hasn't been much in Orlando.  Just rainy and 15 - 20 mph winds.  No damage or flooding in Orlando and it's not even raining here as I type this.

  7. Most tourist wear casual wear to clubs and dinner shows.

You are on vacation and these venues know it.

No need to dress to the nines.
