Often one sees a beautiful background and would like to know where that is. Why is the location not mentioned so that people can know?

  1. That is not a bad idea. I also wonder sometimes and would also like to know. But they possibly believe it will interfere with their main aim. If they admit where they took the photos, they unwittingly sell the good or bad or political impression people have of the location along with it. Lets say for instance that the photos where taken on a famous beach, where it has also been reported in the news, that people should not enter the water because it has high contamination levels, due to the excess of faeces in the water....the clothing fades into the distance…

But in all truth, my question would have been…

Clothing ads, why not mention the country in which they were MADE in? (Most questions I ask are gone within seconds)

(Almost all of us have items of clothing that were made by little children, living under poor conditions, and/or by women living in slavery)

  2. Maybe because it is not photographed on location, but in a studio mostly, using only the location as background...........no experience, just what i see and read

  3. I guess the focus must be on the clothing and not the location. People may plan trips and holidays vs buying clothing.
