Clothing store advice!?

Question

my wife wants to open her own boutique, she would like to have the clothes made the disign will come from local designers who would get a percentage of the sales, but she needs to know where to start, where to buy the fabric and the stuff she needs. this is just an idea she has, i'm helping her with the research.

any advice?

Start up a budget.  Figure in how much she will sell, and how much everything will cost her.  Then you will know how much you can pay people.

Consider operating solely online or out of your garage to cut costs.
