hi i have to sketch a picture of a man and a women dressed like they would when queen elizabeth I was alive... its a project for school, i would really appreciate some pictures or links!

  2. This might be helpful.  Elizabethian clothing was a lot of separate pieces often hooked together, sleeves were hooked or tied to bodices, which went over skirts.  Skirts were layered, overskirts, several underskirts and those awful clumbsy shoes and hoops.

    men had it worse, padded shoulders, sleeves that were variously tight or padded

    tights, and billowy trunks.  

    However the colors were great, the fabrics exotic and everyone wore great gloves.  

    Shakespeares' father was a successful glove maker.
