Clothing washing instructions? Don't understand the symbols!?

I just bought a garment made from 65% acrylic and 35% wool. The washing instructions says

Handle with care

Do not tumble dry

Do not wash in machine at 30 (equivalent symbol)

Dry clean (equivalent symbol)

Does this mean i must dry clean the garment each time it needs washing? It does not say as text anything about having to dry clean. Will it ruin the garment if i hand wash or put it in the washing machine?

I would be afraid to wash it. Wool needs to be dry cleaned. You might call your local dry cleaner for a professional recommendation.
