Just out of plain and simple curosity, why does it always seem that there is a lot of cloud cover and rain in the United Kingdom. Don't get me wrong, I like overcast weather. I'm just curious?

  1. You are obviously dealing with many low pressure systems. Since they are lifting mechanisms, they are able to produce clouds and precipitation.
