In which direction (North, South, East, West) do clouds travel? And why?

  1. Cloud follow the direction of the wind... the wind blowns in any direction, but generally from high to low pressure.

    Higher clouds follow the jet stream.  In the US, it&#039;s generally from West to East.... Of course, their are local dips that go North to South, but if you look at a map, the jetstream flows from West to East.


  2. well clouds travel where the winds are when you see a cloud then a thunderstorm will or could appear......but i think north.

  3. Usually they move the way the wind moves them.   Storms systems usually from west to east...  but locally it depends on the wind.   Winds after a cold front,  NW-North...and breezy...
