Are there any clouds in the Stratosphere? I found a bunch that are in the Troposphere, but I can't find out if there are any in the Stratosphere ...

  1. Occasionally, there are nacreous clouds in the stratosphere. These are also known as mother-of-pearl clouds. They look iridescent, hence the nickname.

Also, thunderstorm tops can occasionally push a little into the stratosphere because of strong updrafts within the storm, but they do not form there. These are called overshooting tops.

That's pretty much it! Everything else is in the troposphere.
