My fishtank began to be cloudy (because of the sand) when i started moving around the rocks. Now that im done moving the rocks, the fishtank is still cloudy.

I was wondering if

it is fully safe to put my fishes back?

what should i do?

  1. Probably.  The cloudiness that you are talking about is probably due to particulates that have gathered in the rocks or sand and should clear up  shortly  with physical filtration.

I would suggest that you do a partial water change using a suction hose to clean the rocks as soon as possible, however.

  2. Totally safe, it takes about a day to clear up.

  3. Yes let it run 30 minutes or so wash the filter again then add your fish. Its much safer than leaving them out too long.

  4. i would let the sand settle

dont move the tank when the sand is settling
