Cloudy Spirit spiriting to win Maiden Stakes at Wolverhampton
Cloudy Spirit is eyeing to clinch top spot in the Horseracing Free Bets With Freebetting.CO.UK Maiden Stakes which will take place at Wolverhampton racecourse on Friday, March 30.
The Class 5 contest of 1m4f50y distance is scheduled to start at 6:55 (GMT). For the prize money worth £2,264, the Reg Hollinshead-trained grey mare will compete against 10 runners including Life Of Laughter, Rebel Woman, Tiger Girl, Godwit, Bells Of Berlin,
Bob’s World, Eshaab, Magical Marvin, David’s Folly and Nice Rose.
Cloudy Spirit has won 4 out of her total 25 starts to date. The seven-year-old veteran mare started her career in March 2009, bagging her maiden triumph in March 2010.
After winning a big race in December 2010, the talented runner attained a couple of consecutive victories in the month of March 2011.
The brilliant mare has delivered outstanding performances in her last three starts each in the first three months of 2012.
Thus, the hot favourite fighter is carrying immense confidence and courage at the moment. Her winning momentum will help her make a big impact in today’s contest.
If Cloudy Spirit manages to make proper use of her excellent racing skills, her chances to thrive can be as high as 80 percent.
Out of the other runners, Eshaab and Godwit are likely to do well in the race.
Eshaab made his debut on September 9, 2011 and grabbed 7th spot in his maiden race. The Ed Dunlop-trained bay and brown colt went on to finish 4th and 3rd in the two subsequent outings. He has run for three times totally.
On the other hand, Godwit finished 6th in her maiden race on February 16, 2012. Eugene Stanford’s bay filly notched up fifth position in the second and last start on March 9.
Come what may, success seems to be bending on Cloudy Spirit. However, she will have to be wary of Eshaab and Godwit who can trigger upsets anytime. Let us enjoy the heated action and see how the mare manages to shine. Good luck to her.
