Cloverfield camera?

in the movie cloverfield, what type of camera were they "supposivly" using. And then what was the real camera?

they were supposively using a handheld camcorder thing. it was like a documentary thing, he taped his whole life i forgot why, but i hate it its too shaky. on the other hand it made you feel like you were there. so yeah. idk i think they used a real movie camera thing lol but used effects to make it look like a camcorder

The real camera was a Sony CineAlta.

There is indication some footage was also captured with a Panasonic HVX200.

The "stunt" camera does not really matter... but is referred to as a "Handycam" so that is a Sony brand name.
