Clown or magician for my 50th party he he?

i would say a belly dancer, if you dont like belly dancers then a magician :) people of various age groups can enjoy magicians...clowns on the contrary are entertainment for children (generally speaking). I do admit, some really good clowns can amuse the older folks for a few minutes :)

Depending on how you like to have fun, Try a kids magician!

If you and your other guests allow yourselves to have fun and play along like kids, you might be surprised at how much fun this is!

The magician might be a bit nervous but the time we did it, (and it was a room full of SFO area Womyn- if you know what I mean) I thought the poor man was going to have a heart attack, until we told him to relax and do his show. Everyone played along and had a great time.

(He was a hippie clown magician, so we sort of had both!)

It is fun to let yourself have fun and be a kid once in a while. Do NOT let folks tell you to grow up. At 50, you have already done so! now you can enjoy! know that I do at 52!  Heck for 40 I tool all my friends to play Q-zar laser tag!

Well depends maybe you need both the magician for the adults and the clown for the kids if any.  If no kids are going to be there then I would go with the magician.

Ironically  at  my moms  birthday  dinner in  a  nice  resterant  was  a   performing  clown.  My  brother  got  her  to  come  to  our table.  She  was  very talented  with  ADULT  humor  jokes.  Another  thought  is  a  Ventriquest,  not  sure  how spell.  So any of  the   performer  needs  to  know  crowd  type they  are  performing  too  as  to  present  best  for  you.  So  ask  questions when  interviewing  before  settling.

Magician! I however hired a clown for my grandmothers 80th birthday. She was like a little kid, she was so happy, the biggest smile. He made her a balloon crown. Best birthday ever! The pictures will glow in my heart for eternity.

Clowns can be just like magicians with jokes. I know a clown and his main act is magic tricks, and he's great for parties. I would say go with the clown. They can adgust their act for a wide range of audiences.

I am a Magician and most of the people that i entertain love it. Plus, I'm not Really good so a paid magician would be awesome!!!!!!!!!!
