Club Atletico Lanus has revealed that their star goalkeeper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Esteban-Andrada-c12909, has been on Barcelona’s radar this season. The club’s Director confirmed Barcelona’s interest in the youngster but told that it would take a lot for the Spanish giants to bring
the goalkeeper to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011.
Barcelona are reported to make an official bid for the 20-year-old but the Buenos Aires club has not decided on selling the youngster just yet. Andrada has been one of the shining stars in Argentine’s Primera Division and has become a priority target for
a couple of top Spanish clubs.
The director confirmed that both clubs have been under consultation regarding the 20-year-old’s transfer. He believed that the club’s leaders would have to thoroughly convince the Buenos Aires side’s members in order to make or break the deal.
Barcelona official’s wants the youngster to play for their B team and earn for himself the playing experience at the Camp Nou. They intend to groom the Argentinean before providing him with a chance of playing in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604’s senior side.
Further explaining the meeting between the two clubs, Solito added, "We met here, in Buenos Aires, with a technical secretary from Barcelona. On May 1 [Narcis] Julia came to us revealing Barcelona's interest in the player, and we agreed that an offer would
arrive shortly.”
The Director mentioned that the League’s policy is not to sell the players who have not had Primera action as yet and Andrada falls under the same category. He confirmed that the shot-stopper’s future would only be decided in a meeting between the club’s
members.
Solito concluded by saying, "When Barcelona make an offer we will see if it is sufficient, and then we will call a general assembly of our members. This is because [the transfer] is against the values of the club, we need to have the authorisation of the
assembly to make sure it is in the interests of the club and the player. If they decide it is not, it will not happen."
The goalkeeper also enthused about his transfer speculation saying that he doesn’t have any problem at Lanus so far and wants the matter to be sorted out as soon as possible.
